Online Prerequisites – Convenient and Interactive Learning
Are you considering a career in the healthcare industry? Marian’s Adult Programs provides a variety of online prerequisite courses that are required before you start your actual nursing or other healthcare program. Our prerequisite courses include Anatomy, Physiology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Statistics, Abnormal Psychology, Human Growth and Development, and many more.
All of our courses are offered online in an accelerated format, and include interactive exercises to aid the learning process and strengthen critical thinking skills. Classes are taught by highly educated full-time and adjunct instructors from Marian University, a regionally accredited institution that is respected by employers and those within the academic community.
- Classes begin 12 times per year
- Courses are five or eight weeks in length
- Students may enroll in multiple classes at a time

While Marian University is regionally accredited, we suggest speaking with your college’s registrar or advisor before you register for the online prerequisite courses. Each institution has unique courses and thus, each institution has specific policies regarding transfer credit.
